These age-appropriate materials support children between the ages of 12 - 18 during their involvement with the justice system as a victim or witness to a crime. These resources include a set of graphic novels about a young, trafficking survivors’ experiences, an accompanying booklet that focuses on rights, roles, and responsibilities within the justice system, and guides for practitioners and caregivers on using the materials. Child and youth victims of trafficking have unique needs and experiences, both in terms of the dynamics of their exploitation and their potential interaction with the criminal justice system as a victim-defendant.
